In this project 6, The Dangauan, we, studio archi 100's student are been given task to design a hut that fit 4 people at one time and my client ifor this dangau is my studio master, Dr. Hazril. we must make sure the building sustainable and suit the environment in Teluk Tempoyak, Penang.
Before design the structure of the hut, we must make the site analysis first. many moments were created during this site visit. Because i'm a little bit talkative, my group want me to interview the villagers there. Several villagers respond to the interview session in Teluk Tempoyak. Thus, this is the result.
and the natural element that catch my attention is the bamboo that they cut in a half, the structure of the bamboo itself create the aesthetic value to the hut that was built in Teluk Tempoyak. so, it gives me inspiration to create a design using this element.
also in designing the hut i've got the inspiration to create a hut that looks like shells
the building that was built around the world also give me the ideas in the designing of the hut.
below, the board that i've made after all the struggling that night, this is all i can do, i wish i can do more. i am not satisfy with my boards but the teamwork in the making of the board sometimes makes me smile.

PROJECT 6B
After submitting the board, then, we starts to build a model of our hut. my hut was named THE COCHILLE ( in France) due to element that i tried to immitate which is shells. 2 days making that model got me a lot of stress because the angle of the hut is varies. But, at least i've tried hard to make it looks better due to the rushingness. i'm not satisfied as i can do better. but, it is fun :).
got a lot of STRESS doing this project, my friends and i has gone through a lot of conflicts but this project has taught me about friendship. i lost a friend, i had friends, we were always trying to help each other during this project. all the moments here in this PROJECT 6 will always keep me pushing on to try harder the next time and try cope with stress and time management. i hate this project but i do love it same as a song "i hate you, i love you". #kipidap#dongibap. :)
